Chris founded Legacy Green Builders to help clients benefit from his diverse experience as a Real Estate Consultant, Broker and Developer. For almost 4 decades he has specialized in the investment, development and sale of residential, commercial, land and farm properties.
Having served in the U.S. Marine Corps, Chris is a stickler for committing to principles and standards. When he began, he couldn’t believe what passed for ‘green construction’ or how uninformed the general public was.
“What I saw lacking in the industry,” says Chris “was a true commitment to the ideals of residential green building in Iowa. Construction projects were being labeled ‘environmentally friendly’ by simply including a few features that were required by code anyway. That’s when I knew it was time to give both residential and commercial clients the assurance that their home or project would truly be Built Green From The Ground Up™.”
